How To Care For Your Isinglass

Isinglass takes some care to keep it looking clear and well conditioned. In this video we show our 3 step process to ensure it’s longevity. First step is to clean it with a protective cleaner. We have had plenty of birds around our boat that leave plenty of droppings precisely on our new bimini. Of course! The next step John applies a waterproofing spray to the Isinglass. This helps to bead water and prevent salt from settling into the glass. Last, John applies snap & zipper lubricant to ensure all the zippers are nicely moving along their teeth. We have our boat cleaned monthly and our cleaner uses the cleaning product we purchased to continue with our process. With the high price it cost to replace Isinglass taking these steps to keep it looking it’s best is a good practice.
