We are starting off a new series “Boating Tips”. We will be sharing what we have found useful in our boating experience. We hope you find some tips useful as you begin or continue your boat life.

Boat tip #1- This tip is all about saving time and using less energy. Some tools are very important to have on a boat and makes things a bit easier. That is what we found when we decided after almost 2 years to buy an electric air pump.

Previously, John had been using a hand pump. Let’s just say blowing up the dinghy was a work out. No exaggeration when I say, he literally needed to change his shirt from being drenched in sweat. Now, we have a floating mat and kayak, so, added to the dinghy the number of items that needed to be inflated was getting to be a lot.
